My first cross over the Equator

22 hours in the air, five hour layover.

Leaving in two hours. To all of you who I didn't have a chance to say goodbye, I love you all very much, and can't wait to share my experiences through the wonderful world wide web. Man, I'm getting emotional already. See you on the other side.

Behold- a full pack.

I am just loooving spending my last few days pacing around my room in an anxious fervor examining my pack. Wanna hear what I got? I know you do. My pop got me this really cool water purifier that zaps evil bugs. All of my clothes are those quick-dry, non-stink (didn't even know anything that cool existed), non-wrinkle materials. I have one jar of Jif extra chunky p.b. A travellers best friend when I max out on scorpions and tripe and the other garbage that the rest of the world feeds on for the sheer satisfaction of watching an adventurous traveller squirm. I swear thats why they do it. Don't even mention Vegemite. Blech. I have my tea, a wring-dry towel, soap that has, I shit you not, like, twenty uses. I can brush my teeth with this stuff. Not saying I will. Swiss army knife, pepper spray (nice), and a bag full of clothes I will soon want to burn. My bag is startlingly petite. Bring it on. Countdown, three days.
